Edmonds Engineering is seeking a Regional Manager for our Nashville, Tennessee office, reporting to the CEO in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Regional Manager will manage all personnel & financial aspects of the branch office operations & maintains the Company’s defined Contribution Margin for that office or Profit Center. The RM essentially controls his/her Profit Center’s P&L and the branch’s employees.
Manages projects and project managers who are designing and producing contract documents for the construction industry. Provide quality control, accounting, marketing & sales for their group, maintain project logins, produce proposals, invoicing, & reviews accounts receivables for collections. Involved in any error and omissions or liability situations. Invoicing will be controlled at the branch level of the company and the RM is responsible for Monthly financial closeouts for the Profit Center. Manage the branch office and employees’ needs in that office. Review and approve branch employees’ Project Incentive document submittals. Work closely with the Company’s Controller for budgeting, sales forecasting, monthly closeout, HR, & recruiting.
Master & excel at the Project Manager level 2 or 3. Complete ALL appropriate discipline- specific & Non-Technical Edmonds Training Academy Training Courses, Speclink specifications Training course, 35+ hours of Edmonds Project Manager Training, & Smartsheet workflow software training. Proven track record of sales and marketing abilities by increasing market share of existing clients and landing new clients. Must be comfortable presenting to existing and potential new clients. Anticipate 20-25% of time devoted to marketing. Must have a 4-year Engineering Degree, be a licensed Professional Engineer, and a minimum of 15 years of experience or have an advanced degree in management.
